1. Let G be a finite group. Let VecG be the category whose objects are C-vector bundles on G which are G-equivariant for the conjugation action of G on G. For U ∈ VecG let Ug denote the fibre of U at g ∈ G; the G-equivariant structure on U is given by isomorphisms ψ x : Uy −→ Uxyx−1 for any x, y ∈ G. For U,U ′ ∈ VecG we define U ∗ U ′ ∈ VecG as follows: for y ∈ G, we have (U ∗ U )y = ⊕(g,g′)∈G×G;gg′=yUg ⊗ U ′ g′ ; the G-equivariant structure on U ∗ U ′ is defined by ψ ′ x : ⊕(g,g′)∈G×G;gg′=yUg ⊗ U ′ g′ −→ ⊕(h,h′)∈G×G;hh′=xyx−1Uh ⊗ U ′ h′

Character Sheaves on Neutrally Solvable Groups
Let G be an algebraic group over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic p > 0. In this paper we develop the theory of character sheaves on groups G such that their neutral connected components G◦ are solvable algebraic groups. For such algebraic groups G (which we call neutrally solvable) we will define the set CS(G) of character sheaves on G as certain special (isomorphism classes o...
متن کاملThe Raikov Convolution Measure Algebra
What follows is propaganda for the study of a particular commutative Banach algebra, A one not inappropriate to a conference which emphasises automatic continuity. In fact A is that subalgebra of the measure algebra, .i\J(T), of all regular bounded Borel measures on the circle under the total variation norm and convolution multiplication, which is characterised by the automatic continuity of me...
متن کاملAlgorithmic Optimisations for Iterative Deconvolution Methods
We investigate possibilities to speed up iterative algorithms for nonblind image deconvolution. We focus on algorithms in which convolution with the point-spread function to be deconvolved is used in each iteration, and aim at accelerating these convolution operations as they are typically the most expensive part of the computation. We follow two approaches: First, for some practically importan...
متن کاملA Weight-depth Theorem for a Class of Multiple L-values
An arbitrary-depth reduction theorem for the ‘convolution’ multiple L-values of Euler-Zagier type for a broad class of Dirichlet characters is proven by an analytic method. To this end, generalized polylogarithms associated to Dirichlet characters are defined. The proof uses the monodromies of these functions and the parities of generating functions of generalized Bernoulli numbers. Some genera...
متن کاملSome Identities Involving Convolutions of Dirichlet Characters and the Möbius Function
In this paper we present some identities involving convolutions of Dirichlet characters and the Möbius function, which are related to a well known identity of Ramanujan, Hardy and Littlewood.
